The adult chronic leukemia support group and health community is for patients, survivors and family members of those diagnosed with adult chronic leukemia.
Adult chronic leukemia involves an overgrowth of mature blood cells. Usually, people with chronic leukemia have enough mature blood cells to prevent serious bleeding and infection. Adult chronic leukemia is more common between ages 40 and 70 and is rare among young people; however, there are exceptions. The FacetoFace Health Adult Chronic Leukemia Support Group and Health Community is intended to provide those facing the disease a secure place to ask questions, share stories, experiences, and offer encouragement to each other.
