The leukemia support group and health community is for patients, survivors and family members of those diagnosed with leukemia. Leukemia is cancer of the white blood cells. White blood cells help your body fight infection. Your blood cells form in your bone marrow. In leukemia, however, the bone marrow produces abnormal white blood cells. These cells crowd out the healthy blood cells, making it hard for blood to do its work. The Leukemia Support Group is intended to be provide patients and family members a secure place to ask others questions about their experiences with leukemia. If you have leukemia or if you are a leukemia survivor, please join this support group and health community to share your story.
