The lupus support group and health community is dedicated to individuals diagnosed with lupus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease which causes a chronic inflammatory condition which can lead to damage of the patients' body (including skin, organs and joints). Lupus patients often experience flares and remissions. The cause of lupus is unknown. Women are at a higher risk for the disease than men. There is no cure for lupus as of today, but new research is making advancements in the field. If you have lupus, please join this lupus support group and health community.
