It's hard enough training a typical child to use their "potty" - even with charts, stickers... pleading. But it can be done. In fact, Hannah got it DOWN! WHOO-HOO!
Until she went on vacation with her family. And they relaxed on the rules. And ended up mucking (for lack of other language) everything up. Where now she wets her diaper (though she's pretty good about numba' two.) Doesn't tell us like she used to, and this was HUGE in communication, so parents to kids of all special needs, just here me out:
When it comes to potty training (and you parents of kids with autism will know)
BE CONSISTANT!
The Hannah & Co. learned that the hard way. Now we're doing the sticker method to get her going (no pun intended) again.
