Well, bad news today .... my monthly lab work showed my liver function studies to be more than 3 times normal. Have to stop my methotrexate (which doesn't seem to be helping anyway), get new labs in 2 weeks and see a liver specialist ASAP. My kidneys are already affected by the lupus now my liver probably is also. OH *****!!!
I've been so sick for so long that its just getting me down ... whats the use anymore????
Not sure I am up for a liver biopsy, I'm tired of being poked and stuck and prodded all the darn time!
