Fall Depression - Be Prepared

Ok - we all know what's around the corner, once the leaves fall.  Those Gray days!  Watch out for them - if they get you down do something different.  Stuck in the house? find a good book - find the gym - do anything to keep from getting sucked into the Gray Day depression thing.  I had a teacher in the 6th grade that had a saying "PMA" - positive mental attitude - it's hard to do that when things are down, or when you look outside and it's depressing.

Try something different, change it up.  Find something to love in life if you haven't already - and ideally something that will love you back.  Our golden retriever is the best - she listens to everything you have to say as long as you keep petting her...

Thanks Nowell. Maybe we should all start a thread on the things we do to get through the fall and winter. I like to start a fire in the fireplace listen to NPR and do jigsaw puzzles. The verbal distraction of the radio and visual distraction of the puzzle seems to put me in a different place. Oh and don't forget the coffee.
