HDL, Diet and Trilipix

Well this morning I started taking Trilipix for my HDL/LDL/tricgyceride levels.  I've always had low HDL and higher LDL - but my last blood work my triglycerides were up and so now i have to start working on it.  I think a large part of it is getting my trans fats out of my diet - they really play on your HDL after reading some more on this last night.  The problem is that with high blood pressure and low HDL, etc. I'm setting myself up for either a stroke, heart attack or ??? but all not good.  Hopefully I can adjust my diet so I can get off this med for the treatment.

it also could mean that I'm pre-diabetic which would really not be cool.
