Simponi 8 days later

Started Simponi Smartject for RA on 1/25/10. Seems I can't find it or my way well around this site well yet. I have noticed quite an improvement in my joint activity already. Its a once a month injection given at home.

Please keep us posted. I inject myself once a week with Enbrel. Is Simponi something new?

Hi Kanah, Simponi is relatively new. It received FDA approval in 2009. I have seen commercials aired for it lately on television. But I had not heard of it before my doctor prescribed it. I gave myself the injection and it was really easy to do. Because the doctors treated my lupus as the problem, over the years the RA has caused lots of erosion in my elbows and hands so hopefully this continues to help. I'll keep you updated.
