My Bio

I am a SAHM of 2 beautiful children. I have suffered health problems throughout my life. In 2006, I was finally diagnosed with MCTD, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, and Ulcerative Colitis. It was a bit of a shock to go from doctors telling me this was all in my head, to finding someone who listened to ALL my symptoms and (for once) put it all together. Most docs would cut me off and want to deal with 1 or 2 symptoms, and the rest "weren''t important right now". Testing confirmed what one wonderful Pain Specialist put together in one long meeting...the above diagnosis. I was scared and relieved all at the same...knowing was half the battle! And now I knew what I was fighting, and what has been fighting ME! It''s nice to find these sites where I find others who have also found themselves in this battle and are trying everyday to be strong. Thanks to all of you for sharing! God Bless!

This medication worked:	not at all	very well
The side effects were:	very mild	very severe

Side effects were with the UC, made the bowel problems worse..however, taken in the AM before food, made it easier. The benefits outweigh the side effects! Really helps make the pain tolerable!!
