My Bio

I am an active adult who was diagnosed with hip dysplasia (hip joint did not develop properly) at age 29. I was initially referred to a surgeon whose only suggestion was a total hip replacement. I got a second opinion and found a surgeon that performed a hip arthroscopy on the right side. I had the hip scope done in 2006 and the results have been great. I''m back to playing sand volleyball, soccer, and running. I occasionally still have pain in my groin area after a hard workout but overall the results have been great. I work at FacetoFace Health.
