My Bio
I am the mother of a 15 year old son who was diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy 4 years ago. He was taking Depakote which was not working well to control daily Petit Mal Seizures so we have recently switched to Keppra. This has been such a road thus far with my goal being to help my son realize he can live a full life while accepting this illness and dealing with it well. Ok and really, he is 15! So there is that whole thing too!! LOL. I would love to meet people who I can discuss all of this with and hopefully learn from as well as help in realizing some of this is just the process.....
