one of the main side effects can be damage to the eyes. i am followed very closely by a retina specialist. I have been on/off the medication for the past 8-9yrs w/ more on than off. After the length of time I have been on it, they are starting to see some damage to the eyesight but can't be conclusive if it's from the medication itself or from the lupus itself.
