My Bio

Hi i am a 21 year old college student that was diagnosed with SLE last year. A few months ago I was diagnose with CML it was in the chronic phase when they found it. Hopefully it will be in remission soon; my doc said it should be. I am responding well to the Gleevec. I never had any symptons from the leuk. they found it through a routine check-up. My main health issues come from the SLE. Its been really hard but im pushing through it. I am hoping that this site will allow me to make new friends who are going through the same thing. I also have been a ballet dancer for 13 years, but i no longer do that because of the lupus. I also play the paino and guitar. I am still an athlete. I am thankful for each day that I wake up, even if im in pain, just happy to be blessed with another day and hopefully many many more!
